How much does one Quran cost?
One whole Quran is 40,000 UGX. You can also give a share of 10,000 UGX, and four shares complete one Quran.
What if my gift isn't an exact multiple of 40,000?
Any amount from 10,000 UGX is welcome. The donation page shows what your gift gives, for example 70,000 UGX is 1 Quran + 3 shares. Any extra goes toward the next share.
Which Quran is distributed?
The Luganda translation Okuvvuunula Amakulu Ga Kulaane Eyeekitiibwa by Umar Juma Nsereko.
How can I pay?
By mobile money, Visa or Mastercard, through our secure PesaPal payment page. You choose the method after tapping Proceed to Payment.
Can I donate from outside Uganda?
Yes. Enter your phone number starting with + and your country code, then pay by card on the payment page.
Can I donate for someone who has passed away?
Yes. Choose "Someone else", select the relationship, enter their name and mark them as "Late (passed away)". Please also make dua for them. For specific rulings, consult a trusted scholar.
Will my name be shown publicly?
Only if you tick "Show my name on the Donors wall". Even then, only your name and who you gave for appear. Your amount and phone number are never shown.
Do I need to give my email address?
No. We only ask for a phone number.
